We hope to answer all your questions here, if there is something missing please reach out to us and we are more than happy to help!
It should go without saying, but we'll say it anyway, please avoid wearing white or near-white.
The wedding dress code is black tie optional. This is the perfect opportunity to make the most of it and dress up. We understand this can be an investment, so please dress comfortably within your means and we know you will look fabulous.
Black tie optional is formal attire that gives you flexibility and includes anything from day suits to tuxedos, and below-the-knee dresses to gowns. To put it simply, it's more formal than Cocktail but not as elaborate as White Tie.
Please note black tie optional doesn't mean wearing the colour black. As it's a formal dress code, guests are asked to kindly avoid overly bright patterns so you fit in with the venue and wedding aesthetic.
Note about heels: The venue is mainly grass and uneven surfaces. It is not recommended to wear thin stilettos without a guard.
Please don't use your phone during special moments of our day (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, first dance, speeches etc.)
We think special events like weddings are the perfect opportunity to take a break from our phones and connect with people around you. We have also hired a professional photographer to capture these special moments and the emotions of the day. Our online album will be shared with all guests.
Please only bring those who were named on your wedding invitation.
Please complete our online RSVP before 22nd August 2024.
We will be providing a coach to pick up and drop off guests from local accommodations for the wedding day only. We will let you know what time the coach will collect you closer to the date.
There is parking available on site if you prefer to drive (please let us know if you are leaving your car overnight).
While we love your little ones, leave them at home and let your hair down.
Children are welcome at the welcome dinner and post-wedding afternoon tea, please let us know if they are coming so we can cater accordingly.
Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our first home together.
Guests are invited to attend a welcome dinner the night before the wedding and a celebration afternoon tea the day after. We will be in Callala for the whole long weekend so please let us know if you are around as we would love to make the most of it!
The ceremony starts at 3:00pm sharp, you are welcome to arrive from 2:00pm onwards.
If you are running late, please let someone from the family know but don't be offended if we start without you.
